Crime Report: Feb. 3 - Feb. 9

This week's Crime Report includes four assault and battery reports, five reports of burglary and two larceny from automobiles. 

Here is the Arlington County Police Report, as released by the ACPD:

"ROBBERY-ARREST 02/07/11, 3800 block of N. 7th Street. On February 7 at 6:30 pm, a man went back to an apartment with strangers. While there, one subject threatened him with a knife taking his car keys and cell phone. Police located the vehicle at a later time. Darrell Bailey, 20, of Arlington, was charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY 02/07/11, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On February 7 at 1 pm, an unknown man stole shirts from a clothing store. When a security guard attempted to stop him, the suspect got in a car and nearly struck the security guard driving away. The suspect is described as an African American male in his early 30’s, 6’ and 185lbs. He was wearing a brown coat, jeans and glasses.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST 02/05/1, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On February 5 at 12:45 am, an intoxicated woman assaulted several people inside a bar. Brittany Doyle, 22, of Stafford, was charged with Assault and Battery and Drunk in Public. She was held until sober.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 02/05/11, 2800 block of Wilson Boulevard. On February 4 at 11 pm, an unknown man knocked another man off a barstool. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s with short blond hair.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST 02/06/11, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On February 6 at 1 am, a woman punched another female inside a bar. Mindy Carreon, 21, of Fairfax, was charged with Assault and Battery and released on a summons.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 02/07/11, 2500 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive. On February 7 at 6:30 pm, a woman stated that an unknown male grabbed her sweatshirt while she was running on the bike trail. The suspect was a white Hispanic male in his 30’s, 5’9” with a stocky build. He was wearing dark clothing.

BURGLARY 02/02/11, 4900 block of N. 14th Street. On February 2 between 2:30 am and 7:30 am, an unknown subject entered a residence and stole electronic equipment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY 02/02/11, 4400 block of N. Pershing Drive. On January 29 at 8 pm, an unknown subject broke into the gym of an apartment complex. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY 02/04/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On February 4 between 5 pm and 10:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY 02/05/11, 2700 block of S. Veitch Street. On February 5 between 3:30 am and 9:30 am, an unknown subject entered a house through a rear patio door and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY 02/08/11, 1300 block of Army Navy Drive. On February 8 between 7:45 pm and 10:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment. Various items were stolen. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES) 02/04/11, 2200 block of S. Grant Street. On Between 9:30 pm on February 3, and 7 am on February 4, an unknown person entered two unlocked vehicles and stole items. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES) 02/05/11, 4700 block of Lee Highway. On February 5 around 8:30 pm, an unknown subject entered three vehicles in the same parking lot. Items were stolen from each. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES) 02/05/11, 1300 block of N. Stafford Street. On February 5 between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm, a suspect broke into at least two vehicles in the same area. Various items were stolen from each. There are no known suspects.
