FBI: Tourneau Robbers Arrested

Two of the men reportedly involved in a smash-and-grab daytime heist of $609,000 of goods from Tourneau at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City have been arrested.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a string of smash-and-grab robberies, including a daytime robbery earlier this year at Tourneau at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City.

In that robbery, which occurred in March, four men entered the store, smashed display cases and made off with more than $600,000 in items.

The duo — Walter A. Douglas and Floyd T. Davis — are both being held without bond, the Washington Post reported.

Douglas and Floyd are accused being connected to several other jewelry store robberies, including Belleview Jewelers near Alexandria, Michael Kors at Tysons Galleria and Bloomingdale's at Tysons Corner, among others, the Post reported.
