Arlington officer was not injured.

Arlington police say a 48-year-old man attacked an officer this week in the parking lot area across from the county police department and courthouse.

At about 7 a.m. Wednesday, an officer attempted to arrest David Holston, of no fixed address, for disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of North Courthouse Road, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck told Patch.

"He was shouting profanity at citizens as they passed by and chasing after people," Sternbeck said.
