Police Ask Sex Assault Victims to Come Forward

Investigators believe man accused of similar crimes in Arlington and Fairfax counties may have victimized more people.

Police believe a man accused of sexual assault in Arlington and Fairfax counties has other victims in the greater Washington area and are asking them to come forward.

Arlington police charged Joshua Terrell Franklin earlier this month with rape, robbery and forcible sodomy, according to a news release. The charges stem from a December 2012 incident in which investigators say Franklin forced a woman he hired online to perform sex acts at gunpoint.

Franklin, of Woodbridge, is awaiting trial in Fairfax County on similar charges stemming from a January incident, the release states.
