Police: Burglars Busted With 4-Year-Old Child in Vehicle

Three burglars trying to get away with antique silverware and other goods from a house on the 5800 block of N. 20th Street in Arlington were arrested in the vehicle, and police discovered they had a 4-year-old child with them.

The call came in at about 11:20 p.m. on Monday, March 24, of a burglary in progress as witnesses saw someone entering the house through a window and fleeing in a Jeep, according to police reports.

  • Nehemiah Guillermo Gonzalez, 30, of Arlington, was charged with burglary, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment.
  • Naomi M. House, 35, of Arlington, was charged with burglary in the second degree, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment.
  • Tara Michelle Lumsden, 30, of Herndon was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, child endangerment, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and driving on a suspended license.
They were held without bond, police said. The child was released to a family member.
