Police: Man Charged in Road Rage Incident in South Arlington

Incident occurred near the intersection of Walter Reed and South Four Mile Run drives.

An Arlington man was arrested in a rush hour road rage incident after allegedly punching another driver through an open window.

Two men, driving in separate cars with their windows down, were verbally arguing with one another along South Walter Reed Drive at about 5 p.m. on Sept. 25, according to information the Arlington County Police Department released Thursday.

The cars reached a stop light or stop sign — police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck wasn't sure which — near the intersection of Walter Reed and South Four Mile Run Drive, when one man got out of his vehicle and allegedly began to assault the other.
