Arlington County police have released a short video clip from the Dec. 7 tire slashing spree in Hall's Hill in hopes someone can provide more information on the series of crimes to hit the neighborhood that night.

Between 12:30 and 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 40 vehicles had their tires punctured by an unknown person or group of people. Some cars had multiple tires slashed. It was the second series of strikes in the same neighborhood in less than a month.

The video above, which police released on the department's Twitter account, shows an individual who appears to be walking hunched over.

The video was obtained from a resident who was a victim of the tire slashings, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck told Patch. Sternbeck described the suspect's walk as "unique."

"That's the surveillance video we were given," he said. "The quality's not the best, but if somebody could recognize something in there that could lead us to a potential suspect… that's why we released it."

Investigators still aren't sure whether they are looking for a single suspect or multiple people in this case, Sternbeck said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the department's non-emergency number at 703-558-2222.

What else does this fool achieve by slashing tires besides just the desire to mess with people ! I hope they catch him! I know our police department will catch who ever it is soon , they always do!
