Police: Steel Reserve Beer Theft

Some of the latest incidents from the Arlington County Police department's reports.

Late Monday night, a man entered a 7-Eleven store on Columbia Pike and concealed a can of Steel Reserve beer in his pocket, Arlington Police reported. When a store employee confronted him, the man suggested he had a weapon and fled. 

Police said they are looking for a black man who is 25 to 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and 190 lbs. He was wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and brown cargo shorts when the incident took place, according to a police report.

In separate and unrelated incidents: 

5200 block of N. 11th Street - Between 6:50 and 8 a.m. Monday, someone entered a residence and stole an iPad and a laptop computer, according to Arlington County Police reports.

800 block of N. Glebe Road - 12:30 p.m. Sunday, a person grabbed another person's iPhone from his hand and fled the scene on foot. The suspect was located and the cell phone was returned to its rightful owner, according to Arlington County Police reports.

500 block of S. 23rd Street - 4:09 a.m. Sunday, two people broke into a business and stole money from an ATM machine. The suspects were wearing masks and dark clothing when the incident occured, according to Arlington County Police. 

Addresses indicate block numbers, not specific addresses. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
