Police: Woman Robbed Near Bon Air, Bluemont Parks

Woman was walking on sidewalk at about 4 a.m. Monday

A woman walking in the early morning hours of Monday was attacked and robbed, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk in the 5900 block of North Wilson Boulevard — where the street separates Bon Air and Bluemont parks — when she was allegedly struck in the head from behind and robbed of her backpack, according to police.

The attack occurred shortly after 4 a.m.

The attacker was described as about 5-foot-7 with a skinny build.
