A woman struck a telephone pole on South Glebe Road overnight and police and Dominion Power crews have a portion of northbound S. Glebe Road closed, NBC Washington reported.
Crews will soon open one lane in each direction on the southbound side, but traffic may back up through rush hour and beyond. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
The pole and accident scene should be cleaned up by noon today.
A similar accident occured in July.
