Van Runs Into ART Bus, Shuts Down Traffic on Glebe

A van rear-ended an ART Bus on N. Glebe Rd. at 4th St. before noon Friday.

Updated 3:08 p.m.: ACPD Spokeswoman Det. Crystal Nosal said about the accident, "A driver of a passenger van rear-ended the ART bus at 11;45 am. No one had serious injuries, though several people were transported to the hospital with minor issues. The driver of the van was charged with reckless driving."

ART responded to our request for information directing us to talk with Nosal.

Original Story: Just after 11:30 am a Nissan Quest van rear-ended an ART Bus on N. Glebe Road at 4th St. Traffic on northbound Glebe is currently shut down for cleanup and investigation. The ART Bus was carrying passengers at the time.
