Patch welcomes Ken Cuccinelli, the Republican candidate for Virginia governor, as a new blogger.
Cuccinelli was sworn in as Virginia’s attorney general in 2010. Prior to holding that office, he was a small business owner and partner in the law firm of Cuccinelli & Day in Fairfax.
He also was a top conservative member of the Virginia Senate from 2002 until 2010.
Cuccinelli is in a tight race against the Democratic candidate for governor, Terry McAuliffe.
The Cuccinelli for Governor blog will highlight Cuccinelli’s positions on key issues affecting Virginians such as education.
In his first blog post on Patch, Cuccinelli writes: “I am not pretending to suggest that I have an answer to all of America’s education woes, but there are certainly obvious and immediate steps we can and should take to turn things around.”
Find out about the solutions he is offering Virginians by reading “A tax plan to help Virginia’s schools,” focusing on his newly released K-12 education plan for the commonwealth.
