Crowd Packs GOP Debate Watch Party in Arlington

Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan debated Thursday evening. Gov. Mitt Romney's son Ben made a brief appearance.

The Virginia GOP Victory headquarters in Arlington was packed Thursday night for a vice presidential debate viewing party.

The office, on the seventh floor of an office building on Fairfax Drive in Virginia Square, hosted Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's son, Ben.

Ben Romney spoke to the crowd briefly and signed autographs, campaign workers said, but he was then whisked off to a back room. An hour into the debate, a spokesman said Romney had left to fly home to return to his medical residency.
