Let the Games Begin: Randolph Elementary Track Dedication [Gallery]

Students, teachers and the rest of the Randolph Elementary community dedicated a new one-eighth mile outdoor track on Friday, the culmination of several years of hard work.

The entire student body gathered around the track while the 5th grade chorus provided songs — including, "Let the Games Begin" in the video above — and Principal Renee Bostick talked about the importance of pressing on in order to make wishes come true. A ribbon-cutting was followed by a ceremonial lap around the track.

The community raised more than $40,000 for the new track.
