Warhol's Silver Clouds, Doggie Dining, 9/11 Commemoration and More

Five things to help you plan your week ahead in and around Arlington.

Go Skins! Redskins star quarterback Robert Griffin III is expected to play for the Monday Night Football opener of the Redskins against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field. Kickoff is at 7:10 p.m. Monday.

See Warhol's Silver Clouds: For the first time in the DC area, 150 of Andy Warhol's Silver Clouds will be on display. The interactive exhibit will be at the Artisphere in Arlington. The free opening reception runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The exhibit is on loan from the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Artisphere is located at 1101 Wilson Blvd., Arlington. 703-875-1100 

Doggie Dining: Take Fido out for some German fare in Clarendon, coffee on Columbia Pike or Thai food in Shirlington. Arlington County has granted variances to 27 restaurants to allow dogs in designated outdoor seating areas. The restaurants must comply with a number of conditions to minimize public health and safety risks. Click here for a list of restaurants.

9/11 Commemoration Ceremony: Arlington County, including top law enforcement officials, will hold at 9/11 commemoration ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Courthouse Plaza at 2100 Clarendon Blvd. More info here.

Mini-golf! It’s fun for the whole family. Top Golf USA has 36 holes of mini-golf on two courses. Top Golf opens at 9 a.m. daily. It’s open until 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10 p.m. Sundays. The mini-golf course is located at 6625 S.
