Arlington Fair Starts Wednesday, Dave Grohl Spotted in Shirlington, National Night Out and More

Five things to do in and around Arlington this week.

You Run Into the Most Interesting People in Shirlington: If you weren't at the Shirlala Music Festival last Thursday, not only did you miss the tropical steel drum sounds of Ewabo, but also the chance to bump into former Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. Grohl was in town with his family. This Thursday: Taylor Carson brings acoustic rock to Shirlington. Celebrity sightings? You never know.
