Police investigate a medical emergency at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
Police are investigating a death at Kettler Capitals Iceplex at Ballston Common Mall before noon. "A man in his late twenties went into medical distress and died when he reached the hospital and we're just conducting it like any other death investigation," said Arlington County Police Detective Crystal Nosal. The medical emergency occurred while the Capitals were practicing in the other rink. "It was just a medical emergency and I don't have any reason to believe anything of a foul nature occurred and he was not associated with the Capitals," Nosal said.
