The home for sale at $1,099,000 has many environmentally-friendly features.

A million-dollar home for sale in Arlington may be just the right fit for the eco-conscious homebuyer. The property at 2617 Nottingham St. features a "living green roof” and an advanced storm water management system, according to homebuilder Arlington Designer Homes. The 3,100-square-foot home comes with multiple rain gardens, native plants and grasses, and permeable pavers, according to a news release from the company. The four-bedroom, three-and-half-bathroom home also features an advanced insulation package. "We haven’t sacrificed any of the amenities that are necessariy to have a liveable house in Arlington," said Andrew Moore, president of Arlington Designer Homes.
