Restaurant Week in Arlington Starts Monday

Fixed-price lunch and dinner options available at participating restaurants through Sunday.

Several Arlington restaurants are participating in the Metropolitan Washington Restaurant this week. It starts today and goes through Sunday. Special fixed-price menus of $20.13 for lunch and $35.13 for dinner are offered at participating restaurants. A number of Arlington restaurants are participating, including Lyon Hall in Clarendon, EPIC Smokehouse in Crystal City, Extra Virgin in Shirlington and the Melting Pot in Ballston. Restaurant Week Kicks Off at the Village at Shirlington

Sixteen restaurants are participating this year.

The second annual Restaurant Week at the Village at Shirlington kicked off Monday featuring specials at 16 bakeries, cafes and other eateries. The Village at Shirlington has the menus for all participating restaurants collected here. Restaurant Week lasts through Sunday. "We're participating to support the neighborhood. Shirlington is just great for promoting neighborhood friendliness," said Andrea Rivera, front of house manager of Cheesetique, which opened in December. "And obviously we want to generate more business, to get more people in the door and learn what we're all about."
