The Protein Bar to Open in Ballston on Wednesday
Restaurant founder lost 60 pounds on a high-protein diet.
The Chicago-based Protein Bar will open a new location in Ballston on Wednesday, the restaurant's second in the greater Washington area. Protein Bar, which will be at 800 N. Glebe Road, features made-to-order high-protein blended drinks, bowls, fresh-made chili, soups, salads and its signature quinoa-packed Protein Bar-Ritos. The establishment says it provides organic, all-natural and locally-sourced ingredients and provides a complete list of all nutritional information and ingredients for its entire menu.
