Redskins' Black: American Dream 'Under Attack'

Black talks personal responsibility and limiting the federal government.

With less than a week to go to the presidential election, it's crunch time. "It's not really game preparation at this point. This is more like two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, and we're trying to do everything we can to win," Washington Redskins Offensive Lineman Jordan Black told Patch. "We're in two-minute offense at this point." Black was at the Virginia GOP Victory Office in Ballston, which serves as the headquarters for all of the Republican campaign operations in this state, to help formally launch the Virginia Young Americans for Romney Coalition Wednesday night. Crowd Packs GOP Debate Watch Party in Arlington

Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan debated Thursday evening. Gov. Mitt Romney's son Ben made a brief appearance.

The Virginia GOP Victory headquarters in Arlington was packed Thursday night for a vice presidential debate viewing party. The office, on the seventh floor of an office building on Fairfax Drive in Virginia Square, hosted Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's son, Ben. Ben Romney spoke to the crowd briefly and signed autographs, campaign workers said, but he was then whisked off to a back room. An hour into the debate, a spokesman said Romney had left to fly home to return to his medical residency.
