Police: Flasher Follows Man Home from Gym in Crystal City

The suspect remains at large, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

A flasher followed a man home from the gym in Crystal City over the weekend before exposing himself, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, the man left a gym and was walking to his nearby apartment in the 3500 block of South Ball Street when he noticed someone following him, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck told Patch.

Once inside his apartment building's lobby, the man exposed himself and then ran away, according to information police released this week.

"The victim had screamed at him, and the subject fled on foot back in the direction of the gym," Sternbeck said.

No one was injured. Investigators don't believe the two men knew each other, Sternbeck said.
