Moon Landing Exhibit on Display at Arlington Library

Arlington resident Al Burt worked on the Apollo 7 through 13 lunar missions.

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11′s moon landing, the Aurora Hills Branch Library in Arlington County is showing an exhibit of Apollo-related documents.  The library is located at 735 S. 18th St.

The notes, charts, books and newspapers are from the personal collection of engineer and longtime Arlington resident Al Burt, who worked on the Apollo 7 through 13 lunar missions.

Burt worked for the Apollo Systems Division of General Electric Corporation, a contractor for NASA, from 1968 to 1970.
